Mr. Bijal Shah joined Backcast in 2025, bringing with him over two decades of experience in lower middle-market credit and equity investing. He supports the firm across multiple facets of its platform, including investment origination, execution, and capital formation. Throughout his 20-year career in private debt and equity investing, Mr. Shah has held roles at notable firms such as Alignment Credit, WP Global Partners, KCAP Financial, and MetLife. His expertise lies in lower middle-market investments, with a focus on sectors including healthcare, business services, and industrials. Mr. Shah holds a B.A. in Business Management from Ashford University.
