Managing Director, Finance 

Mr. Czesak is a Managing Director at Backcast and has primary responsibility for the finance and administrative operations of the Firm.  Mr. Czesak has more than 20 years of experience in the accounting, tax and compliance functions for private funds domiciled in both the United States and internationally.  Mr. Czesak began his career in the early 2000’s with Credit Suisse’s alternative assets group, gaining experience in buyout, debt, real estate, and venture capital fund structures.  He later served in various fund administration roles with SS&C Technologies and Broadscope Fund Administrators (now part of the Apex Group), where he was responsible for the oversight of several accounting teams, technology advancement, and represented operations in the new business development process.  He then went on to join Healthcare Royalty Partners (now HCRx) as Controller where he was responsible for all accounting related matters and financial vendor relationships.  Prior to Backcast, Mr. Czesak was the Chief Financial Officer for New Rhein Healthcare Investors where he managed the finance, operations, and human resource functions of the firm. Mr. Czesak holds a B.S. in Finance from The College of New Jersey.
